Booking & Rides
How do I book a taxi with Annapolis Taxi?
Call us at (443) 808-6578 or use the booking form on our home page or Contact page. Every booking is confirmed by phone so you know your ride is set.
Can I book a ride in advance?
Yes. You can book hours, days or weeks ahead. Advance booking is recommended for early flights, appointments, weddings and events.
How quickly can a taxi pick me up?
For on-demand rides we dispatch the closest available driver right away. Your dispatcher will give you an estimated arrival time when you call.
Can I request a larger vehicle?
Yes. Let us know how many passengers and bags you have and we will send a vehicle with enough room, including SUVs and minivans when available.
Do you provide child seats?
Child seats are available on request. Please mention it when you book so we can make sure one is in the car.

Which airports do you serve?
We provide rides to and from BWI Thurgood Marshall, Ronald Reagan Washington National (DCA) and Washington Dulles International (IAD).
What happens if my flight is delayed?
Give us your flight number when you book. We track your arrival and adjust your pickup time so your driver is there when you land.
How early should I leave for the airport?
We usually suggest leaving Annapolis about 2.5 to 3 hours before domestic flights and 3.5 hours before international flights, depending on the airport and traffic. We are happy to recommend a pickup time.
Where will my driver meet me at the airport?
Your driver will contact you when you land and tell you exactly where to meet at the arrivals level.
Can I book a round trip?
Yes. Give us both your departure and return details and we will schedule both rides.
Fares & Payment
How much does a taxi cost?
Local fares depend on distance and time. Airport and long-distance trips are quoted upfront as a fixed fare, so you know the price before you ride.
Do you charge extra at night or on holidays?
Your fare is always quoted when you book, so there are no surprises, whatever time you travel.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept cash and all major credit and debit cards. Receipts are available for business travel.
Should I tip my driver?
Tips are appreciated but never required.

Are your drivers licensed and background-checked?
Yes. Every driver is licensed, background-checked and trained to provide safe, professional service.
Are your vehicles inspected?
Our vehicles are inspected and cleaned regularly so every ride is safe and comfortable.
What if I leave something in the taxi?
Call us as soon as possible with your trip details. We will check with your driver and help you get your item back.
Is it safe to ride late at night?
Yes. Our dispatch team tracks rides from pickup to drop-off, and we can suggest well-lit pickup spots late at night.

Are you really open 24/7?
Yes. Our dispatch line is answered 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including weekends and holidays.
Do you offer emergency rides?
Yes, for urgent non-medical transport such as car breakdowns or getting to an appointment fast. For medical emergencies, always call 911.
